The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the financial stewardship of the University and its financial strategy, and leads and directs the University’s Directorate of Finance. Ensuring an effective and proactive financial service that provides robust financial management, the role also ensures institutional financial sustainability and supports the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives. They have a direct reporting relationship to the Principal with respect to strategic and professional matters and in support of the latter’s role as Accounting Officer.  For budgeting purposes, Finance staff and services are part of the Corporate Services Group.
